🔥 SECTION 1 — THE QUESTION THAT CONFUSES MANY BELIEVERS

Many believers ask:

“If the Bible says things will get worse…
why should we pray?
Are we resisting God’s plan?”

This question comes from a misunderstanding.

👉 You are confusing:

• What God revealed will happen
  with
• What God assigned you to do

These are NOT the same thing.

⚖️ SECTION 2 — PROPHECY VS ASSIGNMENT

📖 Prophecy Reveals

• The condition of the world
• The direction of human systems
• The increase of darkness

📖 Assignment Requires

• Preaching & Teaching
• Praying
• Interceding
• Advancing the Kingdom

📖 SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come…”
— 2 Timothy 3:1

👉 This is prophecy.

But also:

“Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest… ”
— Matthew 9:38

👉 This is assignment.

👉 Prophecy describes conditions
👉 Assignment determines participation

🧠 SECTION 3 — WHY PRAYER IS STILL REQUIRED

📖 God’s Will for People

“Who will have all men to be saved…” God’s will is for all to be saved.
— 1 Timothy 2:4

👉 Even in the last days:

• God still desires salvation

⚖️ LEGAL REALITY OF THE EARTH

“The earth hath he given to the children of men.”
— Psalm 115:16

🧾 KINGDOM LEGAL FRAMEWORK (VERY IMPORTANT)

• God is King
• Earth is delegated territory
• Man is authorized steward

👉 Therefore:

• God works through legal access
• Prayer is that legal access point

🔥 SECTION 4 — WHAT PRAYER ACTUALLY DOES

Prayer does NOT:

❌ Cancel prophecy
❌ Stop the timeline of God

Prayer DOES:

✅ Save individuals
✅ Restrain evil locally
✅ Release mercy
✅ Open doors for the Gospel
✅ Bring conviction to hearts

📖 EXAMPLE — MERCY WITHIN PROPHECY

Consider Book of Jonah (You can also consider the prayer of Hezekiah and other Biblical examples)

• Judgment was declared
• Destruction was coming

But when the people responded:

👉 God released mercy

🔑 KINGDOM INSIGHT

👉 Judgment may be prophesied
👉 But mercy is still available

⚔️ SECTION 5 — JESUS AND LAST DAYS PRAYER

Jesus knew the end from the beginning.

Yet He said:

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always…”
— Luke 21:36

🔥 CRITICAL TRUTH

Jesus did NOT say:

❌ “Stop praying because prophecy will be fulfilled”

He said:

✅ “Increase prayer because of what is coming”

🧭 SECTION 6 — YOUR ROLE IN THE LAST DAYS

You are not called to:
❌ Cancel prophecy

You ARE called to:

✅ Preach & Teach the Gospel
✅ Pray for the lost
✅ Stand for truth
✅ Advance the Kingdom

⚖️ SECTION 7 — THE BALANCE OF TRUTH

✔ WHAT IS TRUE:

• Darkness will increase
• Deception will spread
• Systems will corrupt

✔ ALSO TRUE:

• People can still be saved
• The Gospel must still be preached
• The Church must still intercede

🔥 SECTION 8 — PAUL’S MODEL

“My heart’s desire and prayer… is, that they might be saved.”
— Romans 10:1

👉 Paul knew rejection would happen.

Yet:
👉 He never stopped praying and preaching.

⚠️ SECTION 9 — THE DANGER OF WRONG THINKING

Wrong belief:

👉 “Prophecy will happen… so prayer is useless”

This leads to:

• Spiritual passivity
• Loss of souls
• Disobedience to God

👉 You are not assigned to stop prophecy
👉 You are assigned to rescue people within it
