By the end of this module, the student will:

• Understand that worship is not just singing, but allegiance
• Recognize how authority flows from submission
• Discern how Satan seeks worship to gain legal influence
• Learn the difference between true worship and false worship systems
• Align their life fully under the Kingdom of God

📖 LESSON 1 — WHAT IS WORSHIP (KINGDOM DEFINITION)

🎤 TEACHING

Worship is not primarily music.
Worship is not primarily singing.
Worship is not primarily an emotional experience.

Worship is submission expressed.

In the Kingdom of God, worship means:

👉 To bow
👉 To submit
👉 To yield
👉 To give allegiance

The word “worship” in Scripture carries the idea of:

• Bowing down before a king
• Recognizing authority
• Declaring loyalty

So when you worship God, you are saying:

“You are my King, and I am under Your rule.”

Worship is not just spiritual—it is legal and governmental.

Who you worship determines:

• Who has influence in your life
• Which kingdom you are aligned with
• What authority operates over you

This is why Satan asked Jesus:

“All these things will I give you, if you fall down and worship me” (Matthew 4:9)

Satan was not asking for a song.

👉 He was asking for allegiance

Because worship gives legal access and influence.

WORSHIP → ALLEGIANCE → AUTHORITY → INFLUENCE

🔥 POINT TO NOTE:

If a person:

• Says they belong to God
• But lives in submission to sin, fear, or deception

Then their functional worship is misaligned.

👉 Worship is proven by what you obey.

There is a war in the spirit—but it is not primarily for land, money, or power.

👉 It is a war for worship

Because worship determines:

Satan cannot force worship.

So he uses:

• Deception
• Temptation
• Distraction
• Idolatry

To redirect worship away from God.

Not all worship is acceptable to God.

Jesus said:

“They that worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24)

• Based on truth (God’s Word)
• From the spirit (not just emotion)
• Expressed through obedience
• Directed to God alone

• Based on feelings only
• Not aligned with Scripture
• Directed toward idols (people, money, self, systems)
• Outward expression without inward surrender

“God is mighty and faithful!”

Focus: God’s WORTH and AUTHORITY

• Surrender
• Submission
• Devotion

“My life belongs to You”
